Reagan: “Since I started training at Trinity boxing club, mugging no longer appeals to me, I no longer use drugs. People who knew me as a thug are no longer afraid of me. People no longer fear for their valuables when am around. Iam Focused and determined to succeed and make my life better This is a life changing initiative”
Sheila Auma: “Often say the fight outside the ring, especially the fight for our families to survive, is the toughest. From a family where my mother struggles with mental health, I was getting seriously depressed, then a friend of mine introduced me to boxing. Since then my life has never been the same again. I am more determined and now believe I will make it in life. In August 2025, I was recruited to be part of KI’s youth leadership training and Mt Kilimanjaro climb. The ‘solo’ camping exercise during training triggered something special in me – I gained ‘extraordinary self-belief’. After the climb I came back and trained like my everything depended on boxing. I won all my bouts and became the national champion in my category. Lady luck smiled on me - I was recruited to join the Kenya Defense Forces. I am overwhelmed with joy, all I have to say is long live Trinity boxing club, long live Kilimanjaro Initiative”.
Amina Martha (Trinity alumni):
“Nothing should ever be a tool for excuse. Not your background, not even your disabilities - your life is not defined by what you lack but what you chose to make of what remains.
One day we will be living so good that the bad days wont even matter, I must keep grinding.
Boxing changed my life for good.”
